Humble Beginnings

Jones Burial Co. was established in August of 2015 by the Jones funeral chapel. After years of contracting out the grave digging portion of our services, we felt it was the right time to start doing this ourselves to be able to have full control over this portion of the business.



Why do we think this is important?

We feel that it is important that from the first call your family makes to our funeral home, until the burial, your loved one is in our care. We strive for excellence everyday and arriving at the cemetery is no different.



What set us apart from the rest?

We go the extra mile to keep cemeteries clean and neat, to preserve existing graves by laying down Duramats when having to cross other graves, we haul off all dirt and bring it back when it is needed to fill the grave. By doing this, it is neat and clean around the gravesite for the grave-side service. We keep our tents, Grass chairs, and lowering devices neat and clean. We continue to do maintenance to the gravesite after the burial for weeks and months ahead so your experience at the cemetery is the very best possible. For our veterans, we have the opportunity to serve what we have created and what we call “The Walk of Pride”. We line the walkway with flags from the hearse, to the gravesite to walk in between, and we also fly the flag on the corner of the tent during the graveside service. It is our goal to honor respectfully the veterans we serve.

Jones Burial Co. has a good working relationship with all of the cemeteries in Butler County and surrounding counties and that gives us the ability to do cemetery work in all of these cemeteries. Some people might say that all grave services are the same, but we beg to differ. We ask that you take notice of our work from not only the grave itself, but to take care of cemeteries by the way of entering and exiting our equipment, making tracks, and/or rooting the cemetery up. We take pride in our work and want to honor those that have went before us.
